Added 2023-11-04 23:54:54 +0000 UTC10 years ago today I walked into a treatment center for my heroin addiction. I'm so happy to let yall know that was the last time I touched the drug. Of course I've struggled with other things and I have other sobriety dates for those, but this is one of the biggest accomplishments I've ever achieved. I wish I had a picture for yall to see how far I've come. Over these past 10 years: I run my own business, my Mercedes-Benz is paid off, I'm close to buying my own house, ive been on several vacations, i got all my teeth fixed, and I finally know what it's like to live happy and comfortably. It's an amazing feeling waking up not being sick every morning. I'm still working on my mental health struggles with my therapist and I've made great progress, I'm looking forward to see what the next 10 years will bring me. For those of you that are still struggling, recovery is possible! It is achievable if you put the work into it and I believe in & love you!
