I knew this is a very popular hike in LA because it’s the only one with a waterfall. I went with a mission to find a spot well off away from humans to have a self care meditation moment. I didn’t want to be around music (which is exactly what everyone was playing walking to the waterfall). About half way to the waterfall I just happen to look left and saw this entry that look extremely hidden. The trees looked interesting (i attached a picture of where I entered) and when I stood quiet for a moment I could hear rushing water. So I took the random turn off main trail and found a hidden gem 😍 I was in solitude for over 5 hours. No music and no extra humans in sight! I think Eaton Canyon has officially become my fav hike in LA that I now know I can find hidden secluded spots in 🩷
