I spent the last week prepping my houses down here and stressing over Hurricane Milton. I’m on the east coast of FL, but my anxiety was through the roof after seeing the destruction Helene caused. The random tornadoes that spawned before the hurricane even made landfall just miles north and south of where I live was an unexpected and unpleasant adrenaline rush. 😬
My power went out after the winds died down, which was a bummer. Thankful it wasn’t worse though! Since then it’s been clean up, taking down shutters, moving plants and patio furniture back outside, etc. All while keeping a generator going pretty much just to keep the fridge/freezer going. My entire body is sore. FPL says to expect power by the 17th in my county. 😩 Sucks, but there are so many people who need it more.
Anyway. That’s where I have been. Now that my stomach isn’t in knots, I’ll be working on more content for y’all! Might be a small challenge without power, but I can be creative. ☺️
