Added 2022-12-22 00:13:37 +0000 UTCi’m reading right now and this author keeps using words i’ve never seen before! i read some of them the other day live on cam, but i just came across this one and had to look it up. i wanted to share with y’all! 🫶 **word of the day**: denouement 💔 this is a French word and literally means: to “untie the knot” or the act of untying. (if you wanna go back even further it is from Latin *nodare*, which is from *nodus* which means knot 🪢) (i just looked all this up for the past 20 mins, im no pro, don’t come for me) in English, it is the final part of a play, movie, or narrative in which the strands of the plot are drawn together and matters are explained or resolved. basically it’s the finale, the final outcome.. the end. well this is the denouement of this post lol. i’m gonna get back to reading my book now. i hope you all are having a good day and enjoying my posts. bye! 🥰
