When you move it left or right, you PAN. When you move the whole base of the camera forward or back you DOLLY, and when you move the base left or right, you TRUCK. I really was an adjunct college professor at my alma mater for 6 semesters. It was some of the most fun I ever had, but the pay was so bad, it cost me more in tolls and gas to get there than I actually made. LOL. That was the actual textbook I used!
