Bartenders often used egg whites in cocktails to give them a rich, creamy texture, along with a smooth head of foam, and this cocktail definitely benefits from both. The egg white is optional, so for all my vegan loves out there, you can skip this step and still enjoy this cocktail with me ! 💋😋 Rating: 5 – this one is a bit tougher to make, keeping the yolk out of the mix ! The Drink: 2 ounces Maker’s Mark ½ ounce simple syrup ¾ ounce lemon juice 1 egg white Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Put the Hawthorne strainer on the top of your cocktail shaker, and pour into a coup long stemmed glass. Don’t forget to tip your bartender !
