My growth is organic. I’ve never paid for it. I am a qualified personal trainer, yoga teacher and movement coach. Most people ask me to share their content, but never return the share and I don’t ask. People think my number gives me something special but Instagram keeps deleting my photos and shadow banning me, for over a year. My account has struggled because of this. I am an author who has given away her book and had to pay to buy and give it to people. I personally still have not made a cent from it. From my book I get 10% of the profit. When I write to Instagram and advise there is a fake account they advise they have no time to assist. My number doesn’t mean I’m famous or special. It means a community of souls rising by lifting others. My number doesn’t mean I am rich or famous. I travel around the world not being recognized and do not own a house or car. My number doesn’t get me a blue tick, nor does being an author on Amazon. My yoga retreat last year I lost money and I taught for free, as it became more expensive then was imagined. I loved every moment of it but it made a financially difficult year. Only 30% of yogis actually make a living from teaching. Most of us work a few jobs and barely make ends meat. Remember life isn’t easier because of the measurements society give us. Life is challenging for all of us. Let’s be kind and support one another, because we rise by lifting others. Let’s not judge each other because assuming makes an (ass) out of (u) and (me). When we shift from judgment and competition to collaboration, those around us and us ourselves become radiant stars in a dark blue sky. Each one of us striking and rising without trying to outshine.
