People tend to have a hard time being thoughtful with or towards the loved ones in their life. All you really have to do is listen to them. Specifically when they talk about positive memories in their past. Recognize the material thing that was attached to it, and reintroduce it into their lives. Sometimes the gesture does not connect, and that’s ok. Sometimes you will witness the magic of nostalgia play out in their eyes and essence. Being thoughtful is the action of putting intention forward, it doesn’t not necessarily mean the thoughts have to be based off of what you want for them. Sometimes it’s ok to just let them tell you what they need and you make yourself available enough to provide it.
