There will be a New Moon on December 23rd in the sign of Sagittarius. A New Moon is when the Sun and the Moon come together, starting a whole new cycle for that month. This New Moon is going to be in the sign of Sagittarius, in the nakshatra, Mula. Mula is associated with the Galactic Center, so it goes deep into the heart of things. This is a deep nakshatra, ruled by the God Niruti, which deals with destruction, so it means there's a clearing out - a cleaning and destructive force that needs to eliminate what is old and not working anymore. Saturn at this point has only about two to three weeks left in the sign of Capricorn, and once it goes into Aquarius we'll get a fresh start. Things are going to feel better, but first things are being destroyed, getting ready to clear the air for the new. There is a clearing of anything that's outdated or not working. Another thing that's happening is the fact that Mars is retrograde but sits six placements away from this New Moon. This Moon sits in the same sign with Mercury and Venus, so we have four planets in the sign of Sagittarius, with Mars six placements away. This is called the quincunx aspect and it deals with incongruencies and things that don't seem to work together. Things feel out of sorts, out of control and like they’re not working, especially with Mars being retrograde. Mars deals with traffic and machinery and we might find that all this is not working. The transport of things is likely to be a problem. Jupiter is now direct and is going to start picking up speed, which means things are going to progress. New things will evolve out of this New Moon because it sits in Sagittarius, which is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter now moving forwards means progress, even though we're going to pick up the pieces from the destruction, and clear the air for the New Year to come. 2023 is going to be full of exciting events. After about six months of 2023 we'll see some positive changes and there are prospects of positive advancement when we reach April, May and June. But before that we still have some cleansing to do, and we’ll see some major changes as we are clearing out for the end of 2022. Saturn going into Aquarius could bring some new leadership into the world that's refreshing and unifying, instead of all the separation that we're so familiar with over the past two to four years.
