It wasn’t until high school where I really learned about the physicality of soccer, but one thing that tremendously helped me was adding mass in my shoulders to check players off the ball.
Especially as a goal keeper, it may sound contradictory, but adding on weight and muscle was the perfect addition to my playstyle, because it made me fearless in bodying you for the ball 😈😤
