The most important part of a keepers job is catching, distributing, and parrying the ball, in doing this we need to make sure the hands know where to go. No matter how you’re catching the ball you must make sure your hands are placed exactly how mine are, with your thumbs reaching down to the bottom of the ball. Create a triangle shape with your hands, then place your hands on the ball. This is roughly the position you want every single time, for this provides your hands with the most resistance possible to contain and control the ball regardless of power. Happy catching!
