My family is coming in to visit me in a couple days, and it was a last minute decision on their part, so I've had to double down and get my house in order (aka clean up). As you know I was just in Arizona for 12 days, so I really haven't had time to prepare for house guests. However, it is what it is, so I've done my clean up in a hurry. It's not easy with a big house and a big yard to make everything "perfect" in 3 days notice. And I'm not the type of person to surface clean and throw everything in a closet. I try to do a thorough job, which means I might spend hours on 1 room. I'll start cleaning out drawers and doing stuff that really isn't needed, but I think well if I'm going to do it I might as well do it right! That way it will be clean for a long time. I'm picky...super picky about how I like things done, which is why I don't hire a house cleaning service. My problem isn't "dirty" it's clutter from my business. I have loads of clothes and shoes and camera equipment everywhere, and only I know what to do with all that stuff. It's easy to use my Swiffer and/or vacuum and clean mirrors. It's far more annoying folding up and hanging up clothes. I'm out of space for clothes! Xoxo
