Added 2022-09-20 03:54:25 +0000 UTCIt’s day 10 of me owning my first house and I’ve already: Put in 29 recessed lights (that’s only half the lights needed) Replaced 5 flush lights Cleaned the whole place from screens to the basement Had the water pump to my well replaced Picked up all the junk in the land and had it removed (I’ll never understand why people let beautiful properties get like this) Connected Wi-Fi (that was an ordeal) Hooked up outdoor camera for security Started to remove wallpaper Weeded the patio (it took foreverrrrrr) Took off the rusted and warped roofing on my pergola and Took off 20 pieces of rotting wood from my patio fence Met with 4 tree trimming people, two handymen, hired crackheads from Craigslist (I didn’t know when I hired them, but oh my god, what a story). Heating people come tomorrow. Landscapers come to clear wildly overgrown weeds this weekend. I’ve seen a black bear, a family of deer, a snapping turtle, frogs, and ducks. The turtle was stuck in my storm drain, but he was safely returned to the pond. I’m exhausted. I’m happy. My heart is full. Also I’ve been terrible with messages, and I plan to get back on track this week. As always, I love the energy you’re giving me and I was overdue for an update. Sweetest dreams, Alexandra ♥️
