Ive been asked about the tax laws surrounding them.
Crypto and NFTs are taxed similarly to stocks. There is a capital gains/loss tax applied. (NFTs are not taxed but the crypto used to purchase/sell them are.)
Also if you are gifted Crypto/NFTs you are not eligible to pay tax unless it’s valued at $15k+
