Are you ever curious to see the outtakes from a shoot? All these unedited images were taken the same day I created my "himation" art reference set, but none of them seemed interesting or fitting enough to me that I even tried editing them. Usually there can be several different reasons why I decide not to include certain pictures. There were a few for example of which I had a similar pose in a different image that I thought was more expressive. Also for art reference I find it really important that the whole subject is visible, so something like the little fabric corner out of frame in one of them, is an immediate reason for me not to use that image And the first image for example, I liked a lot, but because the art reference set was focused on different drapery in fabric, I chose not to include that one. I just felt the fabric was to flat there and not showing any folds or interesting creases. Often times also I'm aiming to have a specific amount of images in a set. I like keeping my work accessible for artists, so I try to have a variety of bigger and also smaller sets (the smaller ones are cheaper of course, hence the accessibility). With this one especially I also had a bunch that I did want to include technically, but because I was trying to keep the set from being to big I excluded those. Maybe I'll share those another day if you like 😏
