I remember the first time I slept over at Prescott's place after our long-standing friendship had started teetering toward the potential of something more. We were in that exciting in-between phase, filled with anticipation of the potential and curiosities about what the other person might be thinking and feeling. At that point we were basically super close friends with some tentative benefits - we were A LOT more touchy-feely than friends typically are and we knew we had a special connection, but we had only hinted and teased and dangled the carrot at that point...we hadn't messed around.
