Some things to keep in mind about Bumble: 1) girls have to make the initial contact with guys, so you don't risk a million rejections to get to someone who's potentially interested...BUT it might get a bit lonely from time to time waiting for a match, particularly since dating sites tend to be so superficially focused on looks over everything else. 2) On the free version, EVERYONE has to respond to messages within 48 hours at which point they are no longer available to you...which can be a good think in my mind, no one gets strung along wondering when or if the other person is going to respond.

This isn't an actual dating site but a lot of guys over 40 have had success meeting other singles that have similar interests to them on this site. Similar interests mean a greater likelihood of a deeper connection.

I didn't even know Reddit dating boards existed, but some guys reported having success on them. I got this tip from different people on various socials, so there must be at least a bit of truth to the potential there. From what I understand, the possible drawback is finding people in a similar geographic location. Maybe at some point people will make dating reddit boards for specific geographical locations. HEEEEEY maybe one of you guys should do that! If you do, make sure you tell me so I can spread the word!!
