I’ve never been the type to ask people for a lot of help.
If you didn’t know, I’m a military spouse to an active duty service member, for the last 16 years! So literally, most of our marriage, I’ve been doing it alone for long spans of time at a time.
Whether he’s been deployed or away for training over the last 16 years together, we’ve only spent probably just over half of those years actually living together, which meant I’ve had to fill both spousal & parental roles every time by myself & you just learn to get shit done! So when I got tired of looking at this room & it taking up space I said fuck this shit & just went all HGTV COME AT ME 🤛🏼 💪🏼
I’m so damn proud of myself. Anyways. This is what I was doing at the end of this week! Still getting settled/making our house we bought in APRIL, but didn’t move into till June, OURS!
It’s a marathon. Not a sprint!
