I have always suffered with anxiety. I am a very nervous and hesitant person and overthinking is my forte. But after finally deciding I didn’t want these feelings to override my overall persona, I decided to make small changes in my daily life to try and change that. One of which was taking a freezing cold bath every morning, to begin my day.
The method behind this madness is:
If you willingly put your mind/body in such an uncomfortable situation every single day, and use your breathing and mind to bring the sudden panic back down again, until you are comfortable in, what was once a very uncomfortable situation, you can then apply that to your every day life. The things that once sent you into a state of pure panic, are now very realistic, easy to handle problems. And after doing this for about 2 months, I can see a real change!
I know this isn’t exactly the sexy post you may have expected, but I hope it helps some of you.
