Journal entry - 20th of January
During our grocery shopping trip today, I had My slave take on the role of My personal assistant. It is very important to Me that he shows his submission in even the most ordinary activities. As we entered the store, he immediately took hold of the shopping cart, so that I could walk around leisurely. I walked ahead, selecting items from the list I had prepared, while he followed closely, his eyes downcast in a display of respect.
I made him pick up the heavier items, like a bag of rice or a case of water, ensuring he felt the weight of his service. Occasionally, I would hand him an item, like a bottle of My favorite wine or a piece of exotic fruit, and he would place it in the cart with care, keeping it organized.
While we were in the produce section, I had him pick out the freshest fruits and vegetables. He knows he is to choose only the best for Me. I watched as he examined each piece, focused. If I find an imperfection on a piece of produce later, he will be punished for it, and he knows it.
At the checkout, he unloaded the groceries onto the conveyor belt with the same meticulous attention he'd shown in selecting them. The cashier, unaware of our dynamic, might have seen a helpful partner, but between us, it illustrated his service to Me.
On the way back to the car, he carried the bags, walking a step behind Me, his posture straight, his demeanor one of quiet obedience. Just like every week, the ordinary task of grocery shopping was another way for him to show Me his service. And just like every week, he did it well.
When training him, he used to be rewarded for a succesfull grocery run. Of course, that was a long time ago. I have certain standards for My slave - meeting those standards is mandatory, not a reason for rewards. Only when he goes above those standards, will he be rewarded. Meeting the standards just means he won't be punished.
Afterwards, he cooked a delicious spaghetti for us. He only got to eat after I was finished, of course.
