Feeling a bit like a Karen but I had to send an email today complaining about another stylist and her client across the room that were openly bashing a teenager that just came out as trans.. the older lady, I assume a grandma/old aunt was practically shouting how “ugly” this teen’s new eyeshadow was, made comments about their body and there were also mentions of how “awful” the concept of a drag show was. Like ??? Fr in public?? So loud the whole salon could hear. Both me and my stylist were disgusted by their conversation. All I can hope for is that the building owner talks to the stylist about keeping the client and themselves respectful. 🫤 I feel so bad for that kid, so much hate for no valid reason.. all they are trying to do is be themselves and they have FAMILY openly talking about their disgust about their transition in public. Bleh… I feel so gross for even hearing that conversation.
