I have been trying in recent months to write about myself without touching on the topic of war. But something happened today that makes me feel compelled to write the truth.
I have absolutely no idea what you see in your news. So I’ll tell you what we see. The budget, aid from other countries, even donations to state funds are stolen. Corruption has not been this high for a long time. People are tired! They are tired and don’t want or believe anything anymore. We are losing a lot more people than we are saying. I think our losses have already reached 3/4 of the enemy’s losses.
We are no longer different from the Russian Federation. Officials have long begun to openly declare that we are slaves and we have no rights.
Men are grabbed on the street, on the way to work, in establishments and institutions. They are taken by force to the military registration and enlistment office, and force is used against them. They are sent to the front without training or normal ammunition. Wives and parents buy helmets, armor, gloves, and uniforms themselves. Sick, disabled people and those with many children are given a “pass” without any medical examination. They don't care if you don't go to the 0 line.
The Verkhovna Rada is passing laws to force men to register for military registration online and to send out summonses online. And those who do not do this will have their accounts blocked, their driver’s licenses taken away, their property seized and their families evicted. Men will not even be able to receive medical care because they want to oblige doctors to call the military registration and enlistment office when a man of military age arrives to serve a summons. And those who say something are sent to m_еat assaults.
Why did I decide to talk about this? Today, a man named Syrsky has been appointed to the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Valery Zaluzhny was removed from his post.
What's wrong with Syrsky? The people and the military call him "M_еat General". He received this nickname not because he copes well with the enemy.
He received this nickname because his direction suffered the most losses. He doesn't care how many people he kills during the assault. Human life doesn't matter. Bakhmut was his direction. It was hell and continues to be. He failed the counter-offensive in the Kharkov direction. Moreover, he himself is from Russia and studied there. Remember the Debaltsevo Cauldron where there were huge losses on the part of Ukraine? Now that the entire army is in his hands - military and civilians are terrified.
There is no trust in the authorities. The President has completely disappointed the people. It's terrible to know that your friends gave their lives for nothing. I don’t know if we can just survive and today no one is confident in our victory. If they take away from us part of the territory that is already occupied and stop there, that will be good. If not, we will lose everything.
That is how we live. I don't want to do anything more for this country. Nothing.

When you think about the fact that 691 days have already passed since the beginning of the war, you get goosebumps. Almost two years. This realization is scary. Sometimes it seems like it will never end.

And we are on the first floor and we have two exits from the apartment, which is also good considering what the consequences could be after the shelling.
I also went shopping. I love construction hypermarkets. I can't do anything about it. I bought myself a new electric stove. Because the old one was very uneconomical and this month I received a utility bill of 4,500 UAH. (~$118) with earnings of $600 you can really feel it. So I thought that an economical stove on credit was better than such amounts for a utility bill. 😅There were also New Year's discounts and I took it on credit for a year for only 13,700 UAH ($361) instead of 19,900 ($525). I think it's a good deal.
I also bought a playground for my beauty. She was on Christmas discounts, so I decided that I wanted to give her a gift. Agree, this thing for $80 is simply awesome.
I also didn’t deprive myself of gifts. I bought high-quality facial care cosmetics for the next six months and More nice things for your loved one. I spent a total of $485 (including a new kitchen stove) on the gift for myself and I don’t regret a cent. I deserve all this and maybe even more!
