I’m now off to play with my new gifts that arrived unexpectedly yesterday 😭 last night, I miraculously finished my Python programming for calculating and plotting a graph for black-body radiation in the Universe and the root mean square deviation (despite still not actually having a single clue what the heck that is. Here’s me thinking programming is my arch nemesis when actually I think it may be probability and data plotting 🥲). Anyway, I had a little cry when it all worked, then the door went and it was some unexpected surprises 😭 Twas an emotional moment, man!

And, after a very brief stint in the workshop mad early this morning I bonked my head twice while I was in there on one of those heat-up outdoor lamp things. First time I hit it I was like “wow, ouch, well I won’t forget that’s there again!”. Went through to the back to look for some larch off-cuts to make a wooden rat sculpture (can’t find them?!) and bonked my head AGAIN but much much harder 😂 I’m surprised my bonce didn’t actually break the light! Ouch, man! I’ve a feeling that hitting my head off everything and anything, daily, has become my new subconscious life venture 🤓
To add insult to injury to this, I still have daily headaches since the day I hit my head in the bathroom and then the sawtable the following day 🙃
If anyone sees where on earth I’ve stashed my larch off-cuts pile lemme know; I wanted to glue together a huge block of them so I can use my angle grinder to sculpt the rat (❤️🐀!) but if I have to make a smaller block of wood, I’ll have to invest in one of those little dremmel-style tools to carve it cos of my dud wrist! For shame!

Right so, for context, the curtains are those basically completely see-through material (like almost all my lingerie, as you know!) and I am on a busy heckin street at GROUND level- what possessed the room layout person to do this? Top this off with a car park being just across the busy one-way road, too, with the parking bays facing lengthwise to the window (so if you pull into the parking bay the driver is genuinely face-on to me). Wild 😂

I am not remotely on the ball at all today; I slept through ALL of my alarms this morning - sooo a couple of days ago I managed to whack my head really really hard on the bathroom cabinet because I left it open and stood up apparently absurdly fast after having a peepee and cracked my noggin on the open door edge; then yesterday whilst I was building the start of a little sheltered (Shrek-honoured) hut to hang my robe and towels under in the garden (I got a hottub last week, you see 🥺😍) I hit my head on the underside of the sawtable and felt sick all day after that! I think my one and only brain cell in my bonce has taken too much of a beating it needed a huge rest. (I didn’t even get to finish building the hut!)

Since coming back home from a few days away I have been in utter panic mode for uni work, I’ve been a dingbat and read deadline dates wrong (thanks dyscalculia 😎) so been ploughing through trying to learn faster than a shark; all to find I’m actually now quite far ahead with things which is nice buuuuuut… maybe I didn’t need to have aged to terribly with fear 😅 so here I am, drooling my last brain cells out on my lovely pink foil bra. I’m actually proper done with travelling now I’m shattered 🥲 (also, lugging my laptop and book all over the place is killing my back now! I spent hours searching for the lightest possible laptop and I’m still so fidgety it just feels too heavy! 😅).
I’m sorry I haven’t been mega active in private messages lately! This uni work (well… *cough* programming *cough*…) has taken over my liiiiiiife at the moment! I’ve also been making a huge amount of whisky-tasting flight boards for a bar that’s opened so when I’ve not been mangling my itty bitty mind with coding I’ve been mangling my wrist with heavy lifting (not to worry- it’s my left wrist that’s gonked- my right hand’s fingers et al are still very pleasantly active!)
Leave me in a room for 3 minutes and I’ll be naked in a flash.
Tis my birthday in 3 days so please forgive my choice of tipple this morning 😅 prosecco IS nice in that “oh this is dry and bitter and yucky, it’s brilliant” way- try it, you’ll see; ain’t no shame in drinking prosecco 😂
I have knackered my left wrist after carrying around a (very small and very light) parsley plant so when I get back home I don’t even think I can tinker in the workshop 😵💫 it reaaaaally hurts!
