The AVN Orgy is upon us.
This shoot marks a lot of firsts for me. My first time attempting to shoot 11 people that wasn't at a wedding. My first time shooting an orgy. The first shoot of my trip to AVN. My first AVN. My first time editing this many photos. My first shoot with 9 people I have never worked with before. My first time waking up before sunrise to shoot indoors. ETC ETC
That said I will slowly be releasing the 168 finished photos from this shoot, but if you want them all right now there is a paid message coming your way, and for just $5 you will get them all right now.
I don't plan on making it a habit to release full sets this way, but this one is gigantic (over 10x the usual size of a set) , and I think worth it.

Dahlia Datura and Ravyn Alexa for a series that as of yet has no name.
I've learned my lesson about naming something before I have sussed out what I want to call it. The name comes as the series develops as the set grows, as the collaborations guide me. Most of my series are named for books or poems that have influenced me over the years. Sometimes just a passage from a book captures the way I feel about a series, sometimes I write a poem that fits perfectly.
But trying to rush something that need not be rushed seems just foolish.

My second shoot with Ari was still pre-ask the dust, but the light, stockings, reds, and processing work for the series perfectly. At this time I had stopped traveling with studio lights, and focused shooting with whatever was available. I just loved the mix of daylight and tungsten light shining into the room. I'm so excited for my next shoot with Ari!

Ari Dee and I did this shoot before I had moved to shooting Ask the Dust, but I just absolutely love what she brings to a shoot. Effortless posing in her mirror (channeling Temperance while I was on the road) made this just a dream shoot, and even though I've moved away from this type of processing I just love how the reds pop.
