Not totally pain free or as mobile as I’d like to be but I’m out here passionate to make fun sexy content for you! I can walk slow and sit and stand for very short periods of time but I’ll be back to normal before you know it! I’ve also been eating some really delicious salads that Shane has been making for me! I need to take a picture before I devour the next one! We have just been chopping up a baby greens 🥬 mix & adding things like blueberries 🫐 grapes 🍇 apples 🍎 fresh corn 🌽 avocados 🥑 nuts 🥜 seeds and some feta or Parmesan 🧀 sometimes I’ll eat it just like that and sometimes I’ll add a splash of apple cider vinegar! Thank you all so much for your kind messages and support! About 10 years ago I was involved in a rear end collision. The driver who hit me was intoxicated above the legal limit. I was stopped at a red light, and he struck me going about 50 miles an hour. Occasionally, my discs will bulge and caused lots of pain. I have never had to go to the ER since the accident because of the pain but I woke up on the 16th at around 3 AM and it was just hurting so bad that Shane decided he should take me to the ER. When we got there, they needed to take me out of the back doors of the Lady Layer on to a stretcher. Thankfully, I was on top of one of our blankets, so it made it a little easier for them to get me out. After I was admitted, it took about an hour before they were able to give me anything for the pain as they had to ask lots of questions and get my info. Finally, after they were able to give me some medicine, the pain started to subside. They let me know about 9 AM that they needed to discharge me. I assumed it was because in case more serious cases came in that were life-threatening. So out the door they sent me with some prescriptions to help with the pain. I was hardly able to sit in the wheelchair as Shane wheeled me out to the van. It was very uncomfortable to sit. It usually takes me about anywhere from 3 to 7 days to be feeling somewhat normal again. I am just thankful. I don’t believe that my disc is herniated just was bulging very badly. I think eating little bit too many inflammatory, causing foods may have caused me to go into extreme inflammation I think after spending 10 days in the wilderness. I just got a little excited to be back in town and eat all the treats. But I learned a very important lesson. I need to make sure I keep myself hydrated and keep the sugary treats on the low end and fruits and vegetables more on the high end. Please send prayers to @missstacy her back spasmed out and she was in more pain than ever before. Currently in the emergency room at the hospital in Anchorage. She was in a bad car accident 10 years ago and about once or twice a year her back flares up. The last time was a few months ago while we were in Ecuador. Usually she’s not able to walk for a couple days and eventually she can walk again and regain her strength. But this time we woke up in the middle of the night and she said the pain was worse than it has ever been. She’s in the ER now. Doctor is gonna give her some things for pain and see how she does. Prayers please. No one wants to watch Miss Stacy be in pain.

Here are some pictures and a lil video to show you how we are surviving out here in the remote bush of Alaska! I was able to put a big tub below the edge of the tarp where the water was dripping to capture fresh water! I was able to collect about ten gallons! It really saved us from needing to haul water from the lake today to drink and cook with. Super thankful! It’s a long haul with 5 gallon buckets when it doesn’t rain. 😅 (still ran it through our water filter just incase.)
It’s been a challenging few days out here trying to get the Starlink to work and post for you all! Our goal is to be able to post daily so we are working towards getting a tower for the star link so we can use it near the tent 🏕️ As of now we walk down near the lake and it sort of works in and out. But it would be ideal to work in our tent away from the mosquitoes 🦟!

Well we have starlink out here but it is very very slow uploading videos. Maybe I need to get the dish mounted up on a tower above the trees. I tried uploading a 23 minute video and it failed. I lowered the resolution to 720 and tried again and it too failed. Pictures and short videos work fine apparently.
Happy new day! We are heading back out to the Alaskan bush today! We plan to spend the winter out there so we need to build some sort of shelter/cabin before winter hits. The property is only accessible by float plane and it’s 35 miles from the nearest town. So it’s pretty remote. It is very peaceful and beautiful tho. Perfect for making some amazing content! We are excited to give starlink a try out there so we can hopefully continue to post and share the adventures with you all!
