When doing a cut (especially if you have been lifting for a while), you can’t really expect to gain muscle. So the goal aside from fat loss becomes muscle retention. You do this through the weights you use abs making sure to get adequate protein. Protein will also help to keep you more satiated as your calorie intake decreases. So far, so good on maintaining muscle mass. Dropping calories again next week.

My right trap is higher than my left, right rhomboid is more flexed, and my left lat goes out further than my right. This could mean a couple of things: My lat on one side is too tight and is messing with my scapular movement. I could be flexing improperly on one side. Or My scapula itself may not be moving how it is supposed to, resulting in an imbalance. Now that I see it, it’s time to problem solve. Progress photos can serve multiple purposes.
