Know what type of field you’ll be playing in!
All throughout my college soccer seasons, we’d have perfectly maintained grass fields, untouched grass fields, short turf as well as long turfed fields. It was a huge shock for us upon the beginning of the game, so definitely make sure you’re comfortable with field before hoping into a game. It makes a huge difference!

Some pre workout shenanigans before the real work started 💪🏼😈
Someone commented about how impressive it was to juggle such a small object. I simply do it just for fun, however it really shows just how beneficial the mini ball is! ⚽️

Defy the odds!
Got to the park and realized I had the wrong ball….
That didn’t stop me though!
Obstacles are never ending, but whether you accomplish your goal or not depends on how badly you want it.

One thing I’ve learned a lot when performing an act I’ve never done, is I’d try to envision myself performing the action. Whether it’s a new skill move, heavy lift, or even just a normal jog. The act of picturing or dreaming yourself performing something does wonders before you actually attempt it.
I would do this particularly with saving penalty kicks or free kicks, and i would feel completely composed afterwards.
Try it before you do something with an unpredictable outcome!

Goals:
It’s easy to hop on the dedication wave and do something over and over, but it’s even more important to pinpoint exactly what and why you’re doing something. At first I trained as an athlete, and now I train for aesthetics/ strength. I had to completely change how I was training to fit my desires. Get your goals straight first, then worry about how to get there 💪🏼😤

Post workout shenanigans 😝
My lower body was super tight from yesterday’s leg day, so I did some light stretching and ball work to get the blo0d flowing.
Today was a busy one, but I’ll catch y'all on another livestream soon!

I think I’ll stick to soccer 😅
It was fun trying to get outside my comfort zone, but I’ll stick to the good stuff.
It’s never too late to try something new though! The only restraints we have are the only ones we make up for ourselves. Anything is possible!

Summer body moving swiftly ☺️
I’ve been getting acclimated to morning cardio and abs 4 days a week. Then weights are at night 5-6 days a week to maintain muscle mass.
Peaked with 185lbs on incline bench for 10. Feeling healthy and strongggg! 💪🏼😝
Leg day tomorrow! Who wants to see my squat? 👀

I have an outfit for training the mind, and another for training the body. Don’t forget to have a healthy balance!

Happy legs happy life:
Your everyday adventures are determined by the strength and ability of your legs. They are easily our most important muscles.
I remember a time when going upstairs in high school would tire me out. Now they’re just as easy as walking.
Don’t skip legs!

Today’s highlight of the day is definitely stretching. Before & during my livestream I took no shortcuts on the amount of stretches I could think of, because right before coming the field I was suuuuper tight in my lower body. Had to get all of that out before I even considered touching the ball. Remember stretching right before, as well as right after any physical activity will work wonders for a speedy recovery.
Hope everyone is happy and healthy!! 🥰

Hamstring is back to its painless self, and I’m ready to get back to my painful workouts 😈🥰
Overall I’ve been combining mini workouts, stretches and resting to allow it to fully heal. It seems to have paid off, because I’m back to feeling like a million bucks 🤑

Grounding:
Grounding offers a unique and natural way to reduce inflammation, cortisol levels, pain and even stress. Our bodies are electrical circuits, and the earth is as well. I’d you’re more interested in how that is. Just look up Tesla’s coil lighting up lightbulb 23 miles away. That’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Do this for about 20 minutes to obtain a full circuit discharge into the earth. If you don’t believe me, give it a go! 😊
It’s one of my many techniques for being stress free

We back baby 😌
Going to be hitting the field after tomorrow’s leg day to test how my mobility is. I’m back to my happy place and am feeling good! So happy this hamstring wasn’t as serious as I expected, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be taking extra precautions with stretching 😅

Today was my first leg day since the hamstring pop! Although it was a little tight and I’m 10 pounds less than I was 2 weeks ago. I got a decent workout in without any pain! That’s a win for me! 😎
Kept the weight low and the reps high to avoid putting too much stress on it.

Post work out abs are a must now for me. After having that hamstring scare, I learned that having a strong core is vital for allowing the legs to work at a high/ maximum capability.
Ab workouts a day keeps the hamstring tears away 😅
Also stretching…. but abs too.

Health is wealth:
I can’t reiterate it enough how important health is to your world. No money, love or power in the world matters if you don’t have your health. Now more than ever we have absolute total control over what we put in our bodies. The moment we get sick, our worlds stop moving and you put everything down to recover.
Don’t forget your health is your wealth.
Stay strong 💪🏼

And we back baby!
Hamstring is still a little tight, but I’m starting to be able to do little jogs, and most importantly juggle. Luckily it was just a little tweak and nothing major, I’ll do my best to get back to full health.
Ended the long day with some mini ball keepy ups ⚽️☺️

Beach sprints:
There are a couple of benefits I found for running on sand versus concrete, and they are:
1. Much less of an impact on your knees, ankles and hips.
2. Strengthens your weak points- forces you to use the smaller muscles in your lower body.
3. They make you burn calories extra fast through a combination of the hot sun, and unstable ground beneath you.
Next time you’re at the beach, see how different it is!

Hey everyone! Thank you all for the kind wishes on my recovery!
I’m able to put full standing pressure on my right leg and can even hit a mini squat now! I feel like a million bucks and even took a long walk this afternoon, so I’m ready to get back at it. I’ve been doing light hamstring stretches, icing and resting in the meantime.

When one body part is super sore or injured, work on all the others. Even in times when unforeseen circumstances pop up (blowing your hamstring out 😅), that gives you extra time to work on everything else.

Sprints are extraordinary beneficial for a couple reasons:
For starters, it’s great for improving muscular strength in the legs and core. It also is scientifically proven to boost testosterone.
However, I definitely advise spending extra amounts of time stretching before hand, otherwise you’ll end up like me who just tweaked my hamstring 😅.

Summer body is coming in nicely! 😎💪🏼
Remember although results are not immediate. If you pay close attention to diet and exercise for a specific period of time, you will change your body atrophy to what you’re working for. The human body is extremely good at adapting to its surroundings, give yourself a goal, then micro adjust your actions to reflect that goal.

Is a keeper saving it? Probably. Although, the basics are there which is all I need to focus on for now. I’m no Leo Messi (even though we’re born on the same day 😝).
The drive up the field, the skill move to shake the defender, and the shot on frame are the 3 key elements to a forward's gameplay.

Arguably one of the hardest ab workouts known to man: Hanging leg raises.
This ab workout focuses on strengthening core stability,
functional abdominal and grip strength, and overall core strength.
I love them so much due to the burn, but even more so because it’s fun watching all my friends try and give up 🤣.
