The core is a box structure made up of the abdominal muscles in the front and the sides, the paraspinal and gluteal muscles at the back, the diaphragm at the roof, and the pelvic floor and the hip girdle muscles as the floor. The abdominal muscles create a rigid cylinder around the spine during movement and provide stability.

The more intense you work out, the better your results will be. But this can be a detriment if it means your workouts are few and far between. Find that balance of of intensity and consistency.

Lying Leg Raise. 3 sets, 12-15 reps (no rest)
V-up. 3 sets, 12-15 reps (no rest)
Seated leg tuck. 3 sets, 12-15 reps (no rest)
Toe Touch. 3 sets, 12-15 reps (no rest)
Crunches. 3 sets, 12-15 reps (no rest)
Reverse crunch. 3 sets, 12-15 reps (rest 2 min. )
Overreaching is muscle soreness above and beyond what you typically experience that occurs when you don't sufficiently recover between workouts. Overreaching usually happens after several consecutive days of hard training and results in feeling run down.
